Ohhhh, Sephora. I love you (especially for your amazing lipstick try-on app) and hate you — you’re a blessing and a curse in my life. It’s easy for me to lose track of time in the mega makeup store, and I constantly find myself aimlessly wandering the aisles, mesmerized by the sheer volume of beauty products. While it’s borderline therapeutic for me to go to Sephora, it’s also entirely too easy for me to drop stupid amounts of money on makeup that’s calling my name.
Urban Decay Travel-Size Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($6 on sale) has become an everyday staple of mine. While I don’t wear eyeshadow every day, I do apply concealer to my eyelids to neutralize the redness and even out my skin tone. Without a doubt, minutes after applying concealer to my eyelids, those dreaded unsightly creases would appear. No matter how much blending I did, they always came back. But this product totally changed that.
I apply a tiny dot to my eyelids with my fingers and then put concealer on top — simple as that. While this product isn’t made for concealer, it works wonderfully with it. When I do wear eyeshadow, though, I won’t wear it without a base layer of the primer first. It brings out the full color in the shadow you’re wearing and keeps it on all day long, crease-free. This is a seriously crucial product to my everyday makeup routine, and I can’t recommend it enough!
