Some believe that Galentine's Day was made up by sad single girls who didn't have dates come February 14. (Oh, the travesty.) So we take great pleasure in reminding folks that G-Day is actually quite empowering. It was pioneered by a ball of fire herself, Leslie Knope of Parks and Recreation, who named this day to honor the friendships we have with our best gals. And because friendship is so sweet, there's no better way to pay it homage than by kicking back with these cakes, cookie bars, and holiday-appropriate treats.
