You Won’t Believe Who Was at Beyoncé’s Formation Tour Opener
Beyoncé’s on fire this week. First, she drops Lemonade: The Visual Album on us, then releases it on Tidal and iTunes. And last night, she unleashed her Formation world tour on Miami, and it’s just what we’d expect from Queen Bey.
Beyoncé covered “Purple Rain” in honor of the late, great Prince, and she killed every moment of the concert, but we were a little bit surprised to hear who she dedicated one of her biggest hits to. Before belting out “Halo,” the Queen took a moment to dedicate the song to her family, and then pointed out Jay Z himself, saying, “I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband; I love you so much.” While Jay didn’t join her on any of her hits that he guested on (“Crazy in Love” and “Drunk in Love” were both featured in the show), he was right there cheering her on from start to finish.
Sounds like the couple are more in love than ever and whatever hiccups they may have encountered are long behind the power duo.
