Inside Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s New $26 Million East Hampton Home
Jennifer Lopez, Martha Stewart, Gwyneth Paltrow — roll out the welcome wagon, because you’re about to get some new (VERY cool) neighbors. Beyonce and Jay-Z just sealed the deal on a $26 million mansion in the celeb-filled community of East Hampton, NY. Situated right next to Georgica Pond and adjacent to 17-acres of meadow preserve, the private estate is basically tailor-made for a superstar couple. Continue on for a few peeks, then head over to Trulia for a closer look.
With seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths, the 12,000 square foot property has plenty of space for Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir (with even more room to grow!). The 100-year-old structure was created by notable New York architect Stanford White, who not only designed mansions for the Astors and Vanderbilts on Fifth Avenue, but also built the iconic Washington Square Arch.
Of course — not that Queen B would have it any other way — the house comes with luxe details including custom millwork. But the pièce de résistance has to be the bathrooms, which are sculpted with marble from Verona, Italy (literally, there are ancient statues made of this stuff). Plus, the tubs, counters, and tiles are carved from a single block of stone by expert artisans.
Just look at the giant wall of windows and the wraparound balcony. Or the two fireplaces — one for Jay and one for Bey — that face each other. One could really get in formation with all this space. Do you think they will invite people over for dance parties and, if so, can we come?
