Billie Lourd Gets Ankle Tattoo in Tribute to Carrie Fisher
The world was heartbroken at the loss of Carrie Fisher last year, but memories and tributes from the people she knew and loved have made it easier to cope. Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, has given nods to her mom in the past, and she’s just made a more permanent nod with her latest tattoo.
The Scream Queens actress visited celeb-adored tattoo artist Doctor Woo for her ink, which features a crescent moon, a planet, six little stars, and one big star. It’s done in Woo’s signature delicate style, but that’s not even the best part.
Lourd’s piece is an updated version of her mom’s ankle tattoo, which contained the same celestial bodies but with a blue and purple background. She got the work done on what would have been Fisher’s 61st birthday.
Lourd also shared some throwback photos as a happy birthday to her mama, and we couldn’t think of a sweeter tribute to our Princess Leia.
