Billie Lourd’s Hair at the ‘Star Wars’ Premiere Was a Touching Tribute to Her Mom Carrie Fisher
Carrie Fisher might be gone, but her presence was keenly felt at last night’s premiere of The Last Jedi. Her daughter, Billie Lourd, who has been especially open about her struggles with grief on social media and is reprising her role as Lieutenant Connix in the latest film, paid one more tribute to the General Organa with her ‘do.

Lourd stepped out onto the red carpet in a shimmery silver floor-length gown, a subtle smoky eye, a chunky silver bracelet, and a braided bun that would’ve done the princess proud. The style was actually the same as one of her mother’s hairdos in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
Fisher passed away on December 27, 2016 at the age of 60 from complications from sleep apnea after a formidable career that began at 18, the highlight of which was playing the damsel who takes matters into her own hands, Princess Leia. While the late and great Fisher is no longer with us, her legacy lives on.
