Prepare to Want Everything from Blair Eadie’s Collaboration with Nordstrom
In the latest of a series of influencercollaborations, Nordstrom has partnered with megabloggerBlair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific. The Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific collection is officially available now, so fans of Eadie’s feminine-with-a-twist aesthetic can shop everything from apparel and lingerie to soft accessories and footwear.
Ladylike, cool, and meant to be mixed and matched, this is the collab we’ve been waiting for — and it does not disappoint. “From the beginning I was like we need to create a collection that is wearable but can be styled in a lot of different ways,” Eadie notes. What’s more: Each piece is under $250 and ranges from size 00 to 24. To give us a sense of what the line is really all about, Edie took us through some of her favorite picks — and we’re pretty sure they’re going to now be your faves too.
Um, can you even stand it? Pantsuits are a major trend and this look has us seriously craving pastel this season. “To do lilac in fall is very cool and unexpected,” Eadie says. Shown here: Menswear Double Breasted Blazer ($149),High Waist Wide Cuff Ankle Pants ($99), Stripe Turtleneck Sweater ($79), Colorblock Faux Fur Stole ($89)
“When you see the collection, even with the pieces that are more tailored, it was about making sure that there is ease and comfort so obviously the material is really soft,” says Eadie. “This tulle skirt is super soft — and all of them have elastic waists.“ Shown here: Bow Detail Tweed Jacket ($169), Shimmer Dot Sweater ($79), Polka Dot Tulle Maxi Skirt ($129), The Perfect Mule ($100)
“I love a colorful stripe. The fabric R&D team and I worked really closely together to find materials that you want to wear,” she says. “It’s about taking these pieces and showing that, listen, if you invest in this sweater, I’ll show you three different ways to wear it. I really want people to understand how you can wear it again and again.” Shown here: Double Breasted Long Coat ($249), Stripe Turtleneck Sweater ($79), Stripe Cashmere Wrap ($199) Georgiana Bow Pump ($110)
If you fell in love with Blair Eadie for her polished-meets-girly vibe, this all pink ensemble is going to have you swooning. “That’s like me in a look,” she says — right down to the sparkly flats. “This is my perfect footwear assortment because it’s your really easy shoes but they’re not basic. I wanted the overt feminine sparkly shoes, but I’m a NYC commuter and these spectators are my commuting shoes.” Shown here: Double Breasted Wool Blend Blazer ($169), Front Pleated Blouse ($89), Covered Buckle Stretch Belt ($39), Tiered Tulle Midi Skirt ($99), Double Strap Flat ($100)
Eadie was, unsurprisingly, involved in the execution of this line with the Nordstrom team, from start to finish. “I came up with the inspiration, I wrote the line plan sinceI have a background in merchandising and design. Obviously, I let their design teams be the experts but we really worked together hand in hand,” she says. “They really did allow me to create a collection that represented me.”
As for her signature sunglasses that are notably absent from the collection? Eadie says they can’t be rushed. “We discussed it and sunglasses are a longer lead time if we really wanted to create and engineer sunglasses shapes that didn’t exist,” she notes. “[Nordstrom’s team members] were like, we feel like you’re so known for it that when you do it you need to do it so well. And I agreed.” If they’re anything as good as this initial offering, they’re most definitely worth the wait. Shown here: Floral Print A-Line Dress ($129), Shimmer Ankle Socks ($10), Georgiana Bow Pump ($110), Faux Fur Wrap ($49)
