Blake Lively made some brand new friends while shooting her latest cover of Love magazine, one of which has some *serious* style to speak of: Miss Piggy, in the flesh!
The famous Muppet took to Instagram to dish the dirt on her new pal, saying, “Here’s the latest gossip: @blakelively is stylish, gorgeous, and positively lovely. She’s definitely in the running for moi’s new BFF.” She also spoke to the outlet about their newly formed bond, saying, “I love dropping in on Blake… she’s funny, lovely, and talented… and of course it doesn’t hurt that her hunky husband Ryan likes to walk around the house with his shirt off.” Oh, my!
The All I See Is You actress didn’t seem to mind Piggy’s admiration for her significant other, posting the same photo and writing, “Eat it, Peppa,” in reference to that other famous British cartoon pig, Peppa Pig. Their shared pictorial, which features the gals clasping hands in coordinating maribou Miu Miu feather coats, was shot by Alasdair McLellan.
And clearly, Piggy isn’t jealous about Lively sharing the cover of Love Magazine with her amphibian ex, Kermit the Frog. “The lovers, the dreamers, and me,” Lively joked of the cover snap, which showcases Kermie in his own stylish hooded green and white outerwear.
The shot was one of several Alasdair took for the magazine, which also featured Kendall Jenner and model Jean Campbell posing alongside Jim Henson’s beloved characters.
We, for one, are loving every second of this shoot. Who knew Kermit was so in vogue?
