Blake Lively Just Pulled Off This Super Difficult Color on the Red Carpet
The American Ballet Theater held their annual Spring Gala at The Metropolitan Opera House last night, and Blake Lively dressed to the nines. The Shallows actress never passes up a chance to take a fashion risk, and Lively definitely didn’t disappoint in one of the hardest shades to pull off: highlighter yellow.
The Oscar de la Renta gown featured a side split that showed off the mother-of-two’s stems. She avoided a style misstep with the bold hue thanks to her hair and makeup and minimalist accessories. Lively sported a low ponytail, complementary turquoise earrings, and a pair of Stuart Weitzman Nudist sandals.
But the Gossip Girl alum almost didn’t make it to the big event. “Traffic was so bad coming to Lincoln Center,” Page Sixreported. Luckily for her date, Fernando Garcia, the designer at Oscar de la Renta, she made it just a little fashionably late ;)
