Gwen Stefani’s Drugstore Lipstick Makes Blake Shelton Sing (Literally)
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been pretty open about their relationship since the pair started dating in late 2015, but Shelton takes it to a whole new level with his upcoming Texoma Shore. The album features a track called “Turnin’ Me On,” in which the 41-year-old waxes poetic about… his girlfriend’s drugstore lipstick.
In the song, The Voice coach croons, “She’s Revlon red in the blackest night, lighting up the room in the world just like she’s turnin’ me on.” Stefani was appointed as Revlon’s latest global ambassador earlier this year — a worthy title for the L.A.M.B. designer who seems to rock a red lip, well, pretty much all the time.

It certainly seems like the mom of three digs the shout-out. Texoma Shore is set to be released on November 3, and Stefani giddily promoted the album on her personal Instagram page last month, “@blakeshelton#excited!!! #newmusic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻gx”
And in case you’re wondering exactly which Revlon lipstick it is that the “Hollaback Girl” singer prefers, it’s the Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor in Lava ($7), which she described as a “pinkish red,” according to Cosmopolitan UK. However, Stefani doesn’t have just ONE color she sticks to. “Everyone my whole entire life has always asked me, ‘What color red do you wear?’ Well I don’t wear one color red you know. I love to mix it up,” said Stefani.
