Britney Spears is full of surprises. Whether she’s donning a super-realistic mermaid tail for the ultimate Halloween costume or headlining her show in Las Vegas, it seems like there’s nothing the singer-actor-dancer-designer-mom-mogul hasn’t tried.
But, while we’ve seen many incarnations of Busy Brit, it’s rare that we get a chance to witness her moments of actual downtime. That’s why we’re super excited to learn that she uses her backstage chill time to unwind by getting creative — just like us!
Yesterday, the living legend Instagrammed a video of herself backstage of her Las Vegas residency. In it, she’s sitting on a stool painting a series of multi-colored leaves on a white canvas with her legs crossed and old-timey French music playing in the background. The video is captioned: “Even the greatest creations start from small seeds.”
And, Brit being Brit, she worked on her great creation in a skin-baring tube top in lieu of a painter’s smock. Would we have it any other way? We think not.
