The Broad City Girls Need Your Help to Paint a Mural
Need weekend plans in Brooklyn? This Saturday, head to Williamsburg and paint a mural with Broad City’s Ilana and Abbi. The two Comedy Central stars will be armed with brushes, drinks and swag at Kinfolk Bar from noon to 5pm And if you’re one of the first 100 painters to volunteer your artistic talents, you’ll get a “Broad Fucking City” shirt. Are you doing the emoji dancing lady pose yet? We are.
Designed by Mike Perry, the artist who created Broad City’s animated episode openers, the mural sounds like it’s going to be giant. If we had to guess, we’d say it’s going to be a squiggly-lined, sherbet-colored logo that’s perfect for hundreds of people to paint at the same time.
In special attendance will be Bingo Bronson, the giant blue monster that tells Abbi to knock down earth-friendly cereals in Whole Foods. And, yes, photo ops WILL be available. We suggest going full Broad City mode by showing up in your pajamas with drawn-on eyebrows. You can RSVP to Broad City‘s Facebook event here. See ya there, queens!
