Bubble Waffle Cones Will Be Your New Summer Obsession
Summer may not officially arrive until June 20, but we’re ready for our favorite summer treat — ice cream — and we’re ready for it NOW.
But we’re not talking your average scoop of chocolate: What with Starbucks ice cream treats and jet black ice cream on the scene, we’ve got a penchant for switching up our frozen delights, and bubble ice cream cones, AKA puffle cones, just might be the answer to all our ice cream prayers.
The invention of Cauldron Ice Cream in Santa Ana, the bubble cone (an egg waffle cone married to a bubble waffle maker) was born last year to the delight of the store’s patrons, and now copycats the world over are springing up — Popsugar is even helping you to create a DIY version on your own at home with the aid of your own Cucina Pro Bubble Waffle Maker ($45).
Can’t wait for the supplies to arrive? Us either. So, in the meantime, feast your eyes on this selection of bubble cone photos that will have you salivating in anticipation.
