Thanks to Buddytruk, Moving Just Got Easier
Moving to a new place can be the best and the worst at the same time. Of course we love the opportunity of having a new pad to design and dress up as our own, but everything outside of creating new Pinterest boards and filling up our virtual IKEA carts is truly a hassle. Sound familiar? Then you’ll be just as pumped as we were to learn about Buddytruk, a peer-to-peer, on-demand moving service that lets anyone nearby with a minivan, truck and spare time apply to help you with some heavy lifting.
Think of it as a Lyft for the moving process. With Buddytruk, you can move one or two items at a time. It’s as simple as snapping a picture of the item you need to have moved and connecting with a registered driver in your local area to come and pick up your item ASAP.
Buddytruk could be fantastic for hauling furniture last minute. Picture this: You unexpectedly find the dresser of your dreams on the sidewalk (hey, it happens), but have no way to get it home that day. With Buddytruk you could get a driver to help you move that dresser to your pad in no time. Which means more time for creating Pinterest boards and stalking these beautiful home decor accounts on Instagram.
Buddytruk is only available on iOS and only operates in Los Angeles right now, but the company has plans to expand to New York City soon.
Would you try out Buddytruk if it was available in your city? Let us know in the comments section.
