Busy Philipps Saved Her Four-Year-Old Child from a Scary Pool Incident
Busy Phillips spent her Fourth of July holiday weekend like many of us, enjoying some rest and relaxation with her friends and family while taking a break from work and her anxiety-busting exercise. But the star has just revealed that things went dangerously awry when her four-year-old daughter, Cricket, was swimming alone in the pool.
The 38-year-old mother of two posted a pic of herself to Instagram which immediately had her followers wondering why the heck she was in a pool full of water while fully dressed.
Her explanation not only cleared things up, but it also proved that when a dangerous situation pops up, she’s ready and willing to do what’s necessary to protect those she loves.

“Just had to jump into my friends pool with my clothes on,” Phillips shared, explaining, “cause Cricket was on a pool float that was about to go over the edge of the infinity pool and there was no one to help her in the pool…” Yikes!
The superhero-like mama added, “…that’s just what you do, I guess.” Indeed. *high five*

She continued her message by assuring fans that disaster was avoided and that everyone was totally okay. “She’s fine. So am I. But I’m pretty soaking wet. So there’s that. HAPPY 4TH.”
Thank goodness it *was* a happy Fourth and that both Busy and Cricket were able to keep enjoying the holiday… despite the scare and soggy clothes.
