VS Angel Candice Swanepoel Just Confirmed Her Pregnancy With This Mysterious Instagram

Victoria Secret supermodel Candice Swanepoel is having a monumental year. The 27-year-old South African native took to Instagram during the summer of last year to announce that she and her partner Hermann Nicoli were engaged. Then she strutted her stuff down the runway at the annual VS Fashion Show and now she has just (kind of) confirmed via Instagram that she is expecting her first baby.
Rumors began to swirl that Candice was pregnant just few days ago after a source broke the news to E!. However, Candice had yet to confirm or deny anything herself. But it looks as though she’s decided to do just that with this mysterious Instagram she just posted. Candice took to the social media platform just this morning to share this illustration of her depicted as a mermaid, snuggling a little mermaid baby. The illustration wasn’t accompanied with any text, but the message is pretty clear.
While this isn’t exactly as straightforward as Rob Dyrdek’s gender reveal or Hilaria Baldwin’s recent baby-related Instagram, you have to hand it to Candice. We can confidently say that we’ve never, ever seen a celebrity pregnancy announcement like this before. 10 points for originality there, Candice.
