See the First Looks From Uniqlo’s French Girl Collab
When we first got word that French fashion editor and style icon, Carine Roitfeld was teaming up with the Japanese fast fashion label, Uniqlo our minds swirled with images of simple LBDs, leopard prints and endless office outfit inspo, and you guys it looks like our fashion forecast was totally on point. The first looks from the line were released yesterday and it’s kind of everything we hoped for.
The collection, available October 29th, will include around 40 pieces and consist of everything from warm outerwear to pencil skirts perfect for that important board meeting. When explaining how she conceptualized the line Roitfeld says, “I started from the idea of clothes that I would want to wear myself and developed this into clothes that anyone would want to wear, a woman’s ideal of clothes that make her feel transformed when she wears them.”
Expect to find some serious #Girlboss style packed with that rebellious-sexy Parisian spirit Roitfeld is famous for. It’s also full of proof that cold weather clothing doesn’t have to be boring. In the preview photos, there is a pantsuit paired with patterned tights and lace-up pumps. In another, a leopard coat is perfectly power clashing with a camo tee. It’s kind of the epitome of that effortlessly chic vibe we always envy French girls for.
