Carrie Underwood Is Hollywood’s Newest Mom With a Sweet Baby Name

Another day, another Hollywood baby. The country singer broke the news of her first pregnancy back in September with an adorable announcement featuring her two pups in “big brother/sister” outfits with the caption, “In honor of “Labor” Day… Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier!” And now, nine months later she has revealed via Twitter that she finally gave birth to a baby boy.
Underwood didn’t post a picture of the newborn’s undoubtedly adorable face, but rather of his cute chubby hand. She wrote, “Tiny hands and tiny feet…God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Isaiah Michael Fisher – born February 27.”
Now, more about that baby name… Carrie’s choice is definitely not super common, but it’s certainly not new. The name Isaiah has Hebrew roots and is most commonly known as a biblical prophet. The actual definition of the name is said to mean, “the salvation of the lord.”
So, our next very important question is, how long do we have to wait until we can see this little dude all dressed up in a teeny tiny cowboy outfit?
