These Coffee Cup Comics Are Guaranteed to Make You Smile
Need a little pick-me up beyond your morning coffee? How about a delightfully designed cup to suit your mood? Artist Josh Hara is an expert doodler who spends his time (when not serving as a high-powered creative director for an ad agency) doodling on coffee cups.
It’s all part of a project to “caffeinate the Internet,” and he’s doing a pretty sweet job so far.
The backs of the coffee cups are an inspirational canvas for Hara’s funny comics, including celeb spoofs and making fun of our coffee habits. Hara tells Mashable, “I think there is some extra interest in taking something we see every day, something that often gets thrown into the trash, and transforming it into a piece of artwork.” We couldn’t agree more.
Hara’s goal is to reach 100 creative cups, hence the name of his new art project #100CoffeeCups. That’s a lot of coffee and a lot of Instagram likes. Considering how much we’re still cracking up over here, we’d be happy to join for the ride and the rush.
