Celebs, they're just like us when it comes to loving (and consuming) wine on the reg (and um, not as a brand ambassador). And although you might expect their tastes to skew toward the baller side, they've actually been known to favor (and request) less expensive versions, which fortunately for us we can afford. Whether you're a rosé, pinot grigo, chardonnay, pinot noir, or Champagne fan, there's something on this list for every palate, at every price point.
Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay ($17): If you think Gaga is only stocking her dressing rooms with herbal teas while on tour, think again. The pop star is apparently a KJ loyalist who has requested two bottles on her rider for all appearances.
Meiomi ($21-$25): Celebs can't get enough of Meiomi's approachable (wallet-friendly) wines. Misty Copeland reaches for its newest Meiomi Rosé ($25), which has aromas of watermelon, orange peel, and rose petal on the nose with stone fruit on the palate. Jamie Chung gravitates toward the Meiomi Chardonnay ($21), a smooth white with layers of pineapple and lemon peel, heightened by honey, almonds, and subtle custard notes. For Kacey Musgraves, it's all about the pinot noir ($25), with notes of toasted oak, strawberry, jammy fruit, mocha, and vanilla.
Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio ($22): The dry white wine has a straw yellow color (that tastes like Golden Delicious apples). Drake is so into this wine he raps about drinking "Santa Margherita by the liter" in his song "The Motto." It's often seen Snapped or 'grammed on celeb accounts, including Shay Mitchell, Kourtney Kardashian, and the cast of Vanderpump Rules.
Château Léoube ($25): This French rosé brand stems from one of the most protected vineyards in Europe. Celeb fans include Poppy Delevingne, Ryan Seacrest, and the cast of Million Dollar Listing LA.
Chateau Minuty Rose et Or ($45): Keira Knightley and her rocker husband James Righton have a thing for this rosé, which is why they poured 120 bottles of it at their hilltop retreat wedding in the south of France, as confirmed by the brand.
The Prisoner 2016 Napa Valley Red Blend ($50): This bold red blend mixes zinfandel with cabernet sauvignon, syrah, petite sirah, and charbono. Jennifer Lawrence kept a bottle on hand while making dinner (check out the background in this Insta); and Kendall Jenner has been known to 'gram the wine.
($60): This is the first-ever Champagne designed specifically to be enjoyed over ice, making it a must-have at Coachella, where Jasmine Tookes and Olivia Palermo have been known to drink it.
Ruinart Brut Rosé ($90): As the oldest maison de Champagne (opened in the 1700s!) and the first-ever rosé Champagne to arrive in the US, this is the crème de la crème of sparkling wines. It's loved by the Olsen twins, Bella Hadid, and Pippa Middleton. Middleton even served magnums of the Blanc de Blanc ($166) for her wedding, so there's that.
Krug Grande Cuvée ($160): Each bottle contains a blend of more than 120 wines from at least 10 different years. Naeem Khan likes to serve it when he's hosting parties, and Madonna has told fans the rosé ($297) is her guilty pleasure.
