We’re in the homestretch of winter (we believe you can make it through these last few rough weeks, Northeast!) and the best way to ride out the chill is with a good page turner to snuggle up with. If you’re struggling to find your next read, have no fear as the celebs are letting you into their personal libraries and giving you their choices for February. Check ’em out — then tear through ’em — below.
1. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, by Jenny Han: Lauren Conrad announced her February book club selection and the love-driven novel is kind of exactly what we want to read right now. Way to time it perfectly with Valentine’s Day, girl. The premise of the book is centered around what happens after the main character’s crushes find out about her love for them all at once. Sounds super juicy. Not only will you tear through this love story, but you’ll be anticipating the announced sequel P.S. I Still Love You, also.
2. Ruby, by Cynthia Bond: Oprah just announced her fourth selection to Oprah’s Book Club 2.0 and we’re guessing it’s already flying off the shelves (digitally and physically). The newest selection by Queen O sounds like an edge of your seat one, as it depicts one man’s determination to protect the woman he loves from a town that is desperate to destroy her. We’re intrigued, yet scared all at once.
3. Gang Leader for a Day, by Sudhir Venkatesh: The third novel on Mark Zuckerberg’s newly launched book club is a sociological memoir that goes deep into the housing projects of Chicago where the author befriends a gang leader. Sound intense? We’re gonna guess it is.
Also, keep an eye out for Homemakers to pop up on book clubs nationwide in March ;)
