Is the ultimate declaration of love getting your sweetheart's name (or fave food) inked into your skin? Many celebs certainly think so (for better or worse). Here, a list of stars who have gotten tattoos in honor of their relationships. While some have since been covered up or removed, others have remained as sweet tributes to their beloved.
Kylie Jenner and Tyga: The rapper inked his lady love's name inside his elbow while the teen reality star got the tiniest lowercase "t" imprinted on her ankle. After the pair split in April 2017, however, Jenner has replaced her tatt with "la," an homage to her hometown. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty, Ricky Vigil/GC Images)
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott: Jenner started dating Scott in 2017 after she split with Tyga. She and her new boo have already gotten matching ink as well: two tiny butterflies on their respective ankles. (Photo via Bob Levey/Getty, Snapchat)
Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting: After a whirlwind courtship, the Big Bang Theory actress wed Sweeting. To commemorate the occasion, the duo marked their bodies with the Roman numerals of their nuptials: hers on her upper back and his on his forearm. After the divorce in September 2015, she covered hers up and warned against the practice. (Photo via Anthony Harvey/Getty, Instagram)
Adam Levine: The Maroon 5 frontman got the words "True Love" tattooed across his knuckles as an act of adoration for his supermodel wife, Behati Prinsloo, and their 10-month old daughter, Dusty Rose. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty, Instagram)
Ariel Winter and Levi Meaden: The Modern Family actress and her long-term BF got two halves of a heart tattooed on their palms, but more adorably, she inked a cheese block and he a jar of peanut butter on their fingers, a nod to their nicknames for each other, in June of 2017. Chris Zylka: In what might be the ultimate act of tattoo love, The Leftovers actor Chris Zylka bears Paris Hilton's name across his forearm in massive Disney font. (Photo via Rich Fury/Getty, Instagram)
Miley Cyrus: After the "Malibu" singer and her handsome Aussie fiancé Liam Hemsworth got back together last year, Cyrus debuted a new tattoo: a tiny bottle of Vegemite, the Hunger Games actor's fave food. (Photo via Frazer Harrison/Getty, Instagram)
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott: The pair became reengaged last April, and in honor of their 10-year anniversary, they got matching bicep ink in Paris reading, "Tout mon coeur, Tout ma vie," which translates to, “My whole heart, my whole life.” D'aww. (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty, Instagram)
Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry: The Warriors star sports an "A" on his ring finger in honor of his wife. The adorable couple also have more matching ink: two arrows pointing at each other, that serves to remind them to stay in the moment. They even have a ritual where they smack their tattoos before a game. (Photo via Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty, Instagram)
Lea Michele: This one will hit you right in the feels. In remembrance of her Glee co-star and late boyfriend, Cory Monteith, Michele got the number "5" (for his character's jersey number) tattooed on her side in 2016 (three years after his death). (Photo via Jason Merritt/Getty, Instagram)
