Channing Tatum’s Mother’s Day Tribute to Jenna-Dewan Tatum Will Make You Cry
Channing Tatum is no stranger to showing admiration for his wife and partner Jenna Dewan-Tatum — the Magic Mike (soon to be live in Vegas!) actor is forever showing off stunning photos of her on his Instagram and captioning them with complimentary labels that would make any girl swoon.
But his mother’s day message to Jenna blew us — and presumably anyone who came across it — away. We saw puh-lentyyyy of sweet homages to Mom from celebrities yesterday, but the caption Channing added to this charming photo of his wife sleeping with their daughter Everly was so thoughtful and insightful, it was a pretty unparalleled display of adoration for his talented wife.

His entire message reads: “I took this just days after Jenna and I (mostly Jenna) brought our little girl into the world. I’ve taken many like it over the past three years but this is one of my favorites. She was so tired. Haha. But she has such deep strength and other worldly grace. Watching her in those first few days transform into a mother was life-changing. She was every bit the beautiful, sexy, funny, flawed creature I fell in love with. But the prism turned and showed a whole new light that I had no idea existed, the light of a mother’s love. Thank you for that baby. Saw this quote today: ‘The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.’ — Theodore Hesburgh. There are a lot of important things in being a father. Who knows what the most important thing is? All I know is that in my case, this is pretty high on the list. Love you cake!”
We don’t know about you, but we’re gonna need a tissue or twelve because this is the ultimate #relationshipgoals.
As if that wasn’t sweet enough, Jenna also received a bouquet that could rival Blake’s, with a mushy card that gives us all the feels: “To the best mother, wife and dreamer I know. Evie and I love you to the moon and back. Happy Mother’s Day! You’re our everything.”
Annnnnd there goes our mascara!
