This Time-Lapse Video of Chrissy Teigen’s Makeup Routine Is Mesmerizing
We love it when a celeb takes us into the getting-ready process — it’s like watching the metamorphosis of a butterfly. Chrissy Teigen’s MUA recently shared a BTS look at the model getting ready with a time-lapse video, and it’s absolutely captivating — just try to tear your eyes away. We bet you can’t!
The video starts out with Teigen sitting in front of the camera in a bathrobe, barefaced with wet hair. Hubby John Legend passes behind her briefly in nothing but a towel before the stylists descend. Makeup artist Emma Osborne and hairstylist Daya Ruci then get to work, blow drying (using a Dyson’s Supersonic Hair Dryer), straightening, curling, blending, and general glamming.
Osborne tagged EX1 Cosmetics, Iconic London, BECCA Cosmetics, Lancôme, and of course, the Beautyblender ($20) in the video as products she used to achieve Teigen’s look.
The result, after hair extensions, a wardrobe change, and a smokey eye that packs a serious punch, was posted to both Ruci and Osborne’s profiles — and damn, girl! Teigen looks good, but what makes the “after” shot that much more satisfying was definitely seeing the process.
