Fashion Mavens Rejoice! Dior Just Launched a Home Collection
Looking for that special accessory to nail your #Frenchgirlchic home decor? Well, you’re in luck, because fashion maven Christian Dior has launched a home decor collection that is as chic as can be. Christian Dior was passionate about decorating the home and used to say that living in a house that isn’t “you” is like “wearing someone else’s clothes.” While Dior’s own home was an extravagant space decorated top to bottom in crystal chandeliers and furniture fit for a palace, the brand new Christian Dior home collection feels a little more obtainable and not quite so Palace of Versailles. While we can’t vouch for the prices, the soft gray and pink color palette definitely works to create a space that’s unique and sophisticated, but still inviting.
The home collection launched in London and boasts four whole stories of items sourced from independent makers all around the world. Eleven different designers created pieces that range from ruffled ceramic plates, notebooks, embroidered linens and handblown glassware, all in the signature Dior gray and pastel pink color palette.
Dior plans on choosing different artists and designers every season for an ever-changing home collection that will keep its loyal customers coming back for more. Sadly, Dior hasn’t jumped on that whole e-commerce thing, so you’ll have to plan a trip to London if you want to check out the whole collection and add that certain je ne sais quoi to your space.
