Christian Louboutin Is Coming Out With Unicorn Skin Boots

Christian Louboutin is getting in on the unicorn trend in a major way. Come next fall, the fancy shoe designer will add a shoe with “unicorn skin” to his range.

The name “unicorn skin” doesn’t come from the designer, however. It’s a term coined by stylist Samantha McMillen, who spilled the beans in a Boomerang on Instagram. The high-heeled boot appears to be a covered in gold sequins, but when you rub your hand over the shoe, a rainbow-colored pattern comes to life. OMG. So ~*magical*~!

Even though the unicorn heels and their signature red heel won’t be available until September, we’re going to keep an eye on the red carpet. McMillen works with celebrities like Dakota and Elle Fanning, Evan Rachel Wood, and Amber Heard, so we wouldn’t be too surprised if we spotted any of those ladies wearing a pair of the shoes before they make their debut in stores.
