Former Disney Star Christy Carlson Romano Is Pregnant With Baby #2
Christy Carlson Romano is going to be a mom of two! The former Disney starlet, who is best known for her leading roles on Even Stevens and Kim Possible, announced that she’s expecting her second bundle of joy with hubby Brendan Rooney in late February.
Romano broke the exciting news on Instagram with a sweet snap of herself, Rooney, and their daughter, Isabella (born on Christmas Eve 2016), which was taken for an exclusive reveal via People. “We are so excited, we just can’t keep this a secret any longer!” the 34-year-old gushed in the photo’s caption.
“@thebrendanrooney and I are thrilled to announce that we’re expecting again!” she continued, before shouting out one of her favorite products, a fertility and pregnancy tracker from Ava Women. “This pregnancy has been great thanks to @avawomen helping track my health and providing updates along the way. One less thing to think about while trying to keep up with @isabellavrooney Shhh… Don’t tell her she’s gonna have to share her toys soon!”
Speaking with People, the actress was beyond thrilled that everything is going according to plan. “I always wanted two kids and I feel so blessed to have this experience again,” she said. “My husband and I are overjoyed that our little girl is going to have a sibling.” The couple, who tied the knot on New Year’s Eve 2013, are now “trying to explain it to Isabella that there is a baby inside Mommy.”
The timing couldn’t be better. “The babies are so close in age and we are still in the mindset of changing diapers,” Romano, who recently wrapped work on two movies and a live-action remake of Kim Possible, told the mag. “I don’t know what it is about being in your 30s and having a growing family. There’s just something that makes you want to work hard. I’m taking this from Kim Possible — I can do anything.”
