Clarks Just Dropped ‘Black Panther’ Sneakers and They’re Definitely Superhero-Approved
If you’re literally counting down the days until Black Panther hits theaters (and you certainly should be, if critics’ reviews are any indicator!), this new Marvel-themed merch just *might* tide you over.
Clarks Originals — yes, the supercomfy shoe brand!— just dropped a sleek, sexy sneaker ($240) inspired by the Wakandan ruler himself. The retailer joined forces with Marvel to create a black-on-black version of its Trigenic Evo shoe style ($180), which features a sole split into three sections (read: *perfect* for turning tight corners and chasing down bad guys).
The superhero riff on the style is made of leather and features silver stitching. It also includes some snazzy rubber accents, one of which is a Black Panther logo on the heel, so you can always carry a little bit of superhero badassery wherever you go.
These standout footwear comes in both men’s and women’s sizes, so there’s a pair for everyone in your (superhero) squad. That said, you’ll need to act fast — these guys are limited edition, and we anticipate they’ll sell out faster than tickets to the movie itself!
