Ingredients:

– 2 frozen pound cakes

– 2 pounds powdered sugar

– 1/2 cup corn syrup

– 1/2 cup water

– 2 teaspoons vanilla

– Sprinkles to decorate

Instructions:

1. Trim the sides of your poundcake until you’ve created a rectangular block. Then slice down the middle and across to make little cubes.

2. Make the icing in two batches to avoid a build up of crumbs. For one batch, combine 1 pound powdered sugar, 1/4 cup corn syrup, 1/4 cup water, and 1 teaspoon in a large bowl. Whisk together until completely smooth.

3. Gently place one cake cube in the icing and use forks or chocolate dippers to cover. Remove and let the excess icing drip off by setting the petit fours on a wire rack set over another pan or some wax paper.

4. Using the straight edge of aluminum foil or another paper, cover up half of the petit four and cover the remaining half with sprinkles.

We recommend making the icing in two batches as it will start to get crumby after the first pound cake. For one batch, combine 1 pound powdered sugar, 1/4 cup corn syrup, 1/4 cup water, and 1 teaspoon in a large bowl.

Using the straight edge of aluminum foil or another paper, cover up half of the petit four and cover the remaining half with sprinkles. Experiment with different designs until you’ve created a nice collection.

Now you’re done. Easy peasy! Set on a pretty tray and serve.

Stage with dinosaurs, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Yum!
