Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Celebrating with your besties, your boo or just yourself? We’ve got a super sweet treat everyone is guaranteed to love. Introducing ourconversation heart sugar cookie bars. Don’t waste another minute and get baking!

Ingredients:

For the sugar cookie bars

  • 2 sticks salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Valentine’s Day sprinkles

For the frosting:

  • 2 sticks salted butter
  • 7 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • red food coloring
  • conversation hearts
  • pink sprinkles, for topping

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix. Add flour and stir in sprinkles. Spread the batter into your baking pan and use a spatula to spread evenly.

2. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

3. In a mixer, combine butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until smooth and fluffy. Add red food coloring and mix. Frost sugar cookie bars and then slice into squares. Top with conversation hearts and sprinkles. Enjoy!
