Converse Has Just Released THE Must-Have Boots for Winter
With all our shoe love, some of us (justifiably) just can’t seem to give up on our fave classic Converse. Amping them with upgrades and even DIY-ing your own personal vibe on your shoes, we’re always gonna love ways to keep Converse in our lives and on our feet. That’s why we adore the fact that not only can we wear the comfy shoes throughout summer and spring, but now Converse is bringing us some super stylish boots just in time for the cooler weather.
It all came about after Converse designers saw a roadie loading equipment into a van while standing in an icy puddle, which we’re sure was a “eureka” moment. The idea for functional boots with the signature Converse style became the goal for Bryan Cioffi, VP and creative director of global footwear at Converse, and Sam Smallidge, Converse archivist. Yep, there’s an actual Converse archivist out there. Awesome.
The Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot is made with premium, mesh-backed waterproof leather with waterproof neoprene inner lining, as well as a 360-degree heat barrier. Fancy-shmancy. The weatherized gum outsole with deeper grooves improves traction, helping to save you from slips and falls on the snowy sidewalks.
Looking strikingly similar to normal Converse high-top Chucks, the boot option comes in egret, antique sepia, black and dark chocolate, costing you $130 per pair on the Converse website.
Winter is already looking super stylish.
