Jam and Booze Finally Meet in This Bubbly Cranberry Zinger Jam Jar Cocktail
Now that jam and alcohol have (finally) become #boozyBFFs, we’ve been gifted with joyous jam jar cocktails. And this cranberry zinger will certainly make you feel all bubbly about their union. Gin and cranberry juice are poured over ice then topped with a spoonful of Holiday Jam (pear, cranberry and raspberry). Fill the rest of the jam jar with ginger ale, give it a stir or two and garnish with a slice of orange for a bit of tang. In each sip, you’ll taste the sweet and sour notes of this zesty fall cocktail, and it may cause you to feel a bit spunkier. Throw a funky festivity or boost your energy with this cranberry zinger that delivers on taste as well as pep.
Ingredients:
makes one jam jar cocktail
- 1 ounce gin
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice
- 1-2 Tablespoons Holiday Jam
- ginger ale
- 1 navel orange
Instructions:
1. Add some ice cubes to a mason jar, then pour in a shot (one ounce) of gin.
2. Add cranberry juice, but depending on how tart you like your cocktail, you can add more or less than a 1/2 cup.
3. Add one tablespoon of holiday jam, but if you want more sweetness, add another tablespoon.
4. Fill the rest of the glass with ginger ale.
5. Give the glass a quick stir.
6. Garnish with an orange slice and feel the burst of energy with the first sip!
