Dairy Queen Is Handing Out FREE Ice Cream and Here’s How You Can Score a Cone
We’ll take ice cream pretty much any way we can get it. Cereal-inspired ice cream, a lavender ice cream bagel sandwich, and even Lucky Charm ice cream… they’re all just so yummy! But our very fave ice cream is FREE ice cream, which is why we’re thrilled that Dairy Queen will be handing out cones for no cost. Here’s how you can score one.
To celebrate the very first day of spring on March 20, some (non-mall) locations of Dairy Queen will be giving away their classic swirled ice cream cones to anyone who’s lucky enough to be in the area and hankering for a cool treat.
“The DQ® soft-serve cone fans have come to love is one of the most recognized treats in the world and is fondly referred to as the ‘cone with the curl on top,’” Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for DQ, said in a press release according to Business Wire. “We can’t think of a better way to show our appreciation to fans.”
And while showing appreciation for their customers is certainly well and good, DQ is also using the event to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network by collecting donations. So while you’re enjoying a sweet free treat, it would be nice to give a few dollars to children in need.
Would you gladly donate to the Children’s Miracle Network in exchange for free ice cream? Let us know @BritandCo!
