Good things come in threes, and in addition to the summer of girlhood and learning what healing your inner child looks like, there's another meme format, courtesy of the 2003 movie Uptown Girls, totally sweeping TikTok. The clip, in which Dakota Fanning's Ray and Brittany Murphy's Molly are spinning around in a teacup ride, is a pivotal point in the movie. As the two characters sit across from each other after a tragedy, they realize how similar they are, despite their age difference — and the moment has helped a lot of people understand themselves (and their childhood selves) better.

At the World Premiere for her new summer movieThe Watchers, Dakota Fanning revealed that she has been keeping up with all the TikToks! "I love it," she reveals to Brit + Co exclusively. "It's nostalgic for people who are kind of around my age, who grew up watching that movie, I think it's like a comfort movie for people. And so I love that people are still revisiting it and loving it. And maybe now that everyone's older [they're] understanding different things about it."
"I loved Brittany so much and I still miss her," Dakota continues. Brittany Murphy, who also starred in Clueless opposite Alicia Silverstone, passed away in 2009. "So anytime that she has, you know, a moment where people think about her is also nice."

The teacup scene isn't the only one users have connected with — they also love Ray's sass when she insists she's in charge. "Take a look around," a young Dakota Fanning says. "Do you see [my mom] anywhere? News flash! You're not gonna."
This is one meme that makes me laugh every time, whether it's about feeling hangryoranswering a misdial, and it just proves Dakota Fanning is here to stay!
