The Chew’s Daphne Oz Reveals Her New Baby’s Adorable Name (And Nickname!)
TV personality/author/journalist Daphne Oz become a mom for the second time on October 21 when she and her husband John welcomed a baby boy. Naturally, the world was dying to know what sort of baby name she and her husband would bequeath their son. Today, The Chew host revealed just that in a video on the show’s Facebook page.
Daphne, who is the daughter of famous TV doc Dr. Oz, and her husband met back in college (aww) and got married in 2010. They are already parents to a 20-month-old daughter named Philomena Bijou. Talk about creative baby names! They decided to go with something a little more traditional by naming their new little one Jovan Jovanovic, Jr. Yep, he’s a junior after his dad, who is Serbian.
Traditional names are definitely here to stay, and But the best part is that the family plans on calling him John John. That. Is. Adorable. The star first confirmed she was pregnant back in April and came up with a really clever name to reveal the baby’s gender. When her father was a guest on the show, Daphne announced that her father’s tie actually revealed the baby’s gender. The tie was, of course, blue.
Daphne has also revealed that the “little baby is so sweet” and the whole family is “in love.” Apparently, big sis Philo is especially enamored with her new baby brother and can’t stop giving the baby kisses. “But she’s 20 months old so her kisses are verging on assault at this point,” Daphne jokes, “so we have to be careful.”
Congrats to the happy family of four!
