When it comes to table linens, we’re always on the hunt for innovative, easy, and beautiful DIY options. So, when we stumbled across these beauties by Bri Emery at Designlovefest, we quickly added them to our “to make” list!
Each placemat is made of heavyweight linen fabric and dyed using standard fabric dye. The key in achieving this aesthetic is making sure you don’t over-dip. A couple inches of fabric dipped in is all you need, and the ombre effect will come from the dye creeping up the linen. See how the whole thing is done by heading to the full tutorial.
Have you made your own placemats, tea towels, or cloth napkins? We want to check ’em out! Leave us a link in the comments below.
