Disney World Just Got a Whole Lot Boozier
The happiest place on Earth (AKA Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ most recent family vacay spot) is about to get a lot…boozier? Yep, you read that right — at least as far as the Magic Kingdom is concerned.
Currently virtually alcohol-free (sans the Beauty and the Beast themed Be Our Guest restaurant), the House of Mouse’s main strip will be adding four more alcohol-serving restos to the mix on December 23 (so like, next week!).
The news would likely not be met with enthusiasm by the park’s creator, Walt Disney, who has kept California’s Disneyland largely free of booze and wished for the Magic Kingdom to be much of the same.
Alas, modernity (and a love of holiday cocktails) seems to have won out: Tony’s Town Square, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Liberty Tree Tavern and Skipper Canteen have all jumped on the libation bandwagon.
While it may not be as inspiring as, say, their healthy side-option shift, we suppose it IS always nice to have more options for everyone to enjoy.
Cheers, Disney!
