This Disney World Proposal Is a Real-Life Fairytale
If you’re going to propose at Disney World, you’d better be prepared to make it pretty extravagant – after all, what else would you expect at the happiest place on earth? It seems like when Patrick Santos decided to propose to his boyfriend Gavin Hatch, he was well aware of the hype he needed to live up to. Whether you’re a sucker for a good engagment story or a bit of a cynic, this adorable video is bound to give you a serious case of the feels.
Earlier last month, Gavin thought he was just going out for drinks with one of his good friends at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. Little did he know that when he got there he’d be greeted with a note from Patrick. In typical fairytale fashion the note read, “‘Gavin, this very moment is the start of our new adventure together. You always talked about being in love like in the movies; however, all of the best love stories have one thing in common. You have to go against all odds to get there.”
He was then handed a few more notes from friends and ended up on a bridge where Katy Perry’s “Unconditional” began to play and dancers started to perform. After they busted out some seriously magical moves, Patrick entered and popped the question. No suprise here: Gavin game him a definite yes. We’re going to go ahead and say that this is a pretty promising start to this couple’s happy ending.
