So many holiday treats – with a Disney twist! One of the most tempting parts of the holiday season are all those delicious, sweet, and sugary treats. This year Disneyland, as usual, has outdone themselves: get your hands on themed candied apples, adorable cake pops, unique crispy treats, toffee, peppermint bark, holiday cupcakes, and one of the surprise hits of the season – the Churro Marshmallow Wand.

Churro lovers can also enjoy the Pecan Pie Churro, Santa's Cookies and Milk Churro, Toffee-Flavored Churro, Caramel and Coconut Churro, Turtle Churro, and the Sugar Plum Candy Churro. Disneyland Ambassador Rafa Barron is a big fan of the house-made Horchata too. These special treats can be found all around the parks, from Main Street in Disneyland to Buena Vista Street in California Adventure to Downtown Disney.

Fresh holiday takes on your favorite comfort food. I's not all sugar-coated goodness: This year the Festival of Foods Marketplace offers up a variety of new menu items with unique twists (find them at kiosks located in California Adventure). There are culinary mash ups like a pork al pastor naan taco, a Turkey-and-stuffing tamale, and Reuben potato tots as well as delicious vegetarian options like the shepherd's upside-down pie made with plant-based ground beef (complete with a cute Mickey Mouse puff pastry). Top off with their selection of craft beers, pomegranate mimosas, or a s'mores frozen chocolate milk with house-made toasted marshmallow-infused whipped cream, graham cracker crumble and chocolate drizzle. YUM.

Entertainment is everywhere. In Disneyland, the Christmas Fantasy Parade takes to the streets with iconic Disney characters and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. Over at California Adventure, several times a day, the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party takes place with music, dancers, the Three Caballeros, and a special appearance from Mickey and Minnie. Keep an eye out for Mickey's Happy Holidays, where you can dance along with Mickey Mouse and his pals to the rhythms of the Holiday Toy Drummers. There's also an eclectic global mix of musical acts to enjoy, from the Mariachi Divas to Mostly Kosher, honoring all the holidays this season. While you're in California Adventure, make sure to visit Santa as he holds court on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

There's even more magic when the sun sets. The "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular lights up the sky every night with special projections that take over the surrounding buildings. At the end, there's a sprinkling of "snow" on Main Street, really delivering the winter wonderland feel. Over at California Adventure, World of Color Season of Light pays tribute nightly to Disney classics new and old with lights, water, story, and song.

Get your ride on with seasonal attractions. The happiest place on Earth gets an injection of the holiday spirit with one of the most striking attractions: It's a Small World Holiday. Catch it at night when thousands of lights twinkle on the iconic entrance. Inside, all the whimsical dolls serenade the cruisers with a wide variety of holiday-inspired vignettes. It's crazy adorable.
Over in New Orleans Square, the ghosts of the Haunted Mansion have gone on hiatus while Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie and the gang take up residence for "The Nightmare Before Christmas"-inspired take over. In California Adventure, Mater's Jingle Jamboree is made over in a jolly fun way just for the season.

Cars Land becomes a holiday wonderland. Over at California Adventure, the auto residents of Cars Land have completely transformed the area to honor the holidays. The characters each have their own take on Christmas, such as trees made of roadside signs and motor oil cans. Make sure to try some of the tasty treats they offer there as well like the new Sugar Cookie Churro at the Cozy Cone or the Chocolate Peppermint Shake at Flo's V8 Cafe.
