Watch: Emma Watson Is Perfect As Belle in the New Beauty and the Beast Trailer
Remember how much you loved Disney‘s Beauty and the Beast growing up? The music, Belle’s gorgeous yellow dress — basically everything about it was perfect. Luckily for us, Disney’s been really riding the nostalgia train with all sorts of live action movies touching on our fave classics like Maleficent and The Jungle Book, and now, you can add a live action Beauty and the Beast to that roster. With its new teaser trailer having been released 10 months ahead of the film’s March 2017 premiere, we’re pretty sure Disney did this on purpose to get us totally excited.
This teaser is exactly what we wanted to see from BATB. A brief glimpse of Emma Watson as Belle, the rose under glass, the dialogue, “Look, it’s a girl! What if she’s the one?” and the song you still sing every dang time (thanks, Celine Dion!). We’re dying to know how Luke Evans will do as the jerk Gaston, and with stars like Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellan playing Mrs. Potts, Lumiere and Cogsworth, this movie is one we’ll be lining up to see for sure.
