This Anthropologie-Inspired Garland Is Surprisingly Cheap and Easy to Make
When dreaming about the perfect holiday decor and winter home accessories, we envision cozy, furry and Anthro-inspired items. So today we’re here to show you how to make your own Anthropologie-inspired pom pom garland for a fraction of the price. What’s more, it takes less than 10 minutes to create! Read on for the tutorial.
Materials and Tools:
— furry pom poms
— matching thread
— needle
— measuring tape
— 6 feet rope
Instructions:
1. Find the middle of your rope.
2. Hand sew the first pom pom in place right at the center.
3. Measure four inches from the first pom pom and add the second pom pom.
4. Repeat with as many pom poms as you like. When you’ve finished with the right side, repeat on the left.
First, find the middle of your rope. You can fold the rope in half or measure with your measuring tape. Then hand sew your first pom pom. I used a six-foot piece of rope, but you can customize it to any length you’d like. Once you’re done with the first pom pom, measure four inches to the right and sew the second pom pom in place. Repeat until you reach the end of the rope, then move to the left side and do the exact same thing. Voilà, you’re done!
And now that you have your brand new garland, you can use it to decorate your mantel or simply hang it to the wall to create a cute, cozy corner. You could even use it as a gift topper!
