Your Modern Boho Nook Needs These DIY Painted Rattan Plate Holders
Patterned poufs, indoor plants and handmade macrame wall hangings are just the beginning when it comes to decorating boho chic spaces. While your collection of flea market finds and decorative tapestries can create a stylish boho vibe in your bedroom, bring the fun to your dinner table by turning your plain old plate holders into trendy rattan holders that also double as decor.
Materials and Tools:
- rattan plate holders
- craft paint
- Frog Tape
Instructions:
- Decide on a pattern and tape it off. If you’re making a symmetrical pattern, lift up your tape and use it again on the other side.
- Grab a paint brush and paint between the tape.
- Let the paint dry and then remove the tape.
- Repeat with all plate holders.
First, decide on what pattern you want your plate holders to have. Then tape off the pattern with your tape. Tip: If you’re making a symmetrical pattern, lift up your tape and use it again on the other side. After your tape is set in your desired pattern, grab a paint brush and paint between the tape. Once the paint is dry, remove it, and your plate holders are complete! Repeat these steps for the rest of the plain plate holders.
Try switching up the boho pattern for a fresh look on each painted rattan plate holder!
