How to DIY a Macramé Plant Hanger
Welcome to another episode of Pies + DIYs! I’m sure you can guess what this series is all about — doing DIYs while eating pie :) You can tune in every Wednesday to pick what DIY project I (Kelly) will make LIVE! I only have three tools and six materials to work with to create the DIY of your choice. Hope to see you all there!
This week we celebrated our plants by making them a happy macramé home using eight strands of rope, cord, or jersey fabric. To get started, tie all eight strings into a knot about two inches from the bottom of your collection of strings. Next, group your cords into four sets of two and tie a knot in each set, approximately two inches away from the bottom knot. Separate these sets into new sets of two and tie them together approximately one inch away. Repeat until you have four rows of knots. Slip in your planter and hang from the ceiling or a hook on the wall.
