2 Quick + Easy DIY Ways to Customize Your Wedding Day Heels

For many brides, a big portion of your wedding planning (and budget) is focused on your amazing dress (like this non-conventional tea length), but we are here to remind you not to forget about your shoes! We’ve drummed up a couple of easy two-material hacks for you to make your wedding shoes completely customized. These hacks take no time at all (but do involve a good amount of idle dry time), so you will have plenty of time left over to hand letter your unique wedding seating display.

Instructions:

1. Paint on the nail polish to the sole of the heel.

2. Once dry apply a top coat over the nail polish.

Grab your favorite hue of blue nail polish and give your heels a new blue sole. #Louboutingoesblue

Add a thin coat over the area that has the grips. Pro Tip: You don’t want to actually fill in the crevices with nail polish — it would make for a slippery disaster!

We covered the nail polish with a matte top coat. This is totally optional for the look you want to achieve. If you like it glossy, skip the matte.

Not a fan of blue? Customize the underside of your shoe with your favorite hue or a color from your wedding palette.
