See What Happened When a Couple’s Dog Was Their Wedding Videographer
When Tennessee-based couple Addie and Marshall Burnette decided to elope last minute, they knew they couldn’t do it all on their own. They already had the perfect locale picked out — on the top of Roan Mountain (where they had their first date! <3) but they needed someone to capture the moment. So they hired their Siberian husky Ryder to be their videographer.
While Marshall is actually a director himself and probably could’ve done awesome all by his lonesome, in the caption of the video, Marshall wrote, “Our dog, Ryder, insisted on filming the wedding video, so we let her do her thing.” The result is a totally stunning video with a unique perspective. Marshall also wrote, “She took awhile to edit the footage, but we think she did a great job.” And boy, oh boy, did Ryder pull through.
They attached a GoPro to her back and let her film. She did a great job capturing the gorgeous wedding “venue.” Talk about a winter wonderland!
Like any good videographer, she also captured the special moments too. Aww. What a seriously clever way to capture your special day. Plus, with videographers averaging around $900 to $1500 per wedding, we’re certain their bank accounts were happy too.
Good girl, Ryder! We hope you got paid in ample pets and treats.
