Summer is ruined 😭

Dunkin’ Donuts Is Getting Rid of This Beloved Drink and People Can’t Even

As coffee faves like Starbucks and McDonald’s continue to keep customers coming back with everything from wildly pretty rainbow drinks to new takes on old espresso classics, Dunkin’ Donuts has people melting down with the announcement that they’re discontinuing one of the chain’s favorite coffee drinks.

The iconic Coffee Coolatta will come off the menu this summer, as it is no longer “good enough,” according to senior vice president of brand marketing, Chris Fuqua. It’ll be replaced by the Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee, which aims to be closer to a cold brew and draw the interest of classic coffee drinkers than the dessert-like Coolata… but by the sounds of it from fans of the sweet, sweet drink — good luck with that!

Not all is lost, however — Dunkin’ Donuts will keep the fruity flavors of the Coolattas, as well as roll out new ones over time. Oh, and there’re still donuts! Donuts make everything better.

Ok, we'll share. But just one sip. 😁

If the Coolatta was your go-to summer drink, we suggest a summer rosé club as the only possible replacement — just trust us on this one.
