This Is the Most Delicious Way to Eat S’Mores EVER
One thing we love about spring is the reintroduction of bright, fun colors. (Winter, your colors are also awesome, but we’re ready for sunny spring hues!) As huge fans of sweets, we’re putting spring and sweet treats together to create these colorful Peeps s’mores to satisfy your springtime sweet tooth. This is a great easy recipe to have your kiddos help out with. They will love watching the Peeps expand in the microwave — I mean, who doesn’t?!
Ingredients:
– chocolate chips
– 1 Tablespoon oil
– rainbow sprinkles
– graham crackers
– Peeps
Instructions:
1. Mix the oil into the chocolate and microwave for about 90 seconds. Stir until it is all melted.
2. Dip the edge of the graham cracker into the chocolate and cover with sprinkles. Let the chocolate harden on a piece of wax paper.
3. Place a Peeps bunny on a non-chocolate graham cracker and warm it up in the microwave for 30 seconds.
4. Add the chocolate graham on top and get ready to indulge!
A Tablespoon of oil will help get the chocolate chips melty and ready for some dipping action.
Dip the graham cracker in half way and then cover with sprinkles. Tons and tons of sprinkles :)
Place on a piece of wax paper to let the chocolate harden. To make the process go faster, stick them in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Place a Peeps bunny on a non-chocolate-covered graham cracker and stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Channel your inner child as you watch the Peeps bunny double in size.
Stack the chocolate graham on top and get ready to experience the most magical s’more of your life.
This may be a sugar overload, but we aren’t complaining. I mean, look at those colors!
I bit into the purple one right away because, you know, it’s purple :)
