Every Product in This New K-Beauty Inspired Skincare Line Is Under $25
When it comes to trying out new Korean beauty picks, it can be a pricy venture. But one of our go-to affordable makeup brands just announced that they’re making it even easier on our wallets to test the trend. E.l.f. Cosmetics will drop a line of K-beauty-inspired skincare products this June — and every one is under $25.
The e.l.f. team gave us first dibs at this fresh line at their beauty influencer dinner in Palm Springs on April 13, with YouTube and IG gurus Patrick Starrr, Raye Boce, Iris Belin, and Weylie also in attendance.
Beauty Shield is a collection of seven skincare products that help to combat damaging environmental factors like pollution, smog, and UV rays. “K-beauty [is really good at] recognizing the impact of environmental aggressors and shielding their skin from all these things we’re all susceptible to, “e.l.f.’s Creative Artistic Director Achelle Richards tells Brit + Co. “[And I thought] there needs to be that out here in the States.”
The line includes: a dark spot lightening and skin brightening Vitamin C Pollution Prevention Serum ($16), an antioxidant-packed Skin Shielding Moisturizer SPF 50 ($12), a vitamin E-infused Skin Shielding Primer SPF 50 ($15), a refreshing Daily Defense Makeup Mist ($8), a massaging Dual Defense Cleansing Facial Brush ($8), an iron-based Recharging Magnetic Mask Set ($24), and a gel-cream Massaging Overnight Recovery Cream ($14).
The Massaging Overnight Recovery Cream ($14) is one of the most unique products in the lineup. The tip features tiny rollerballs that, when twisted, distribute just the right amount of antioxidant-rich gel cream onto your skin. As you move the rollerballs over your face, the gentle massage helps penetrate the cream deeper into the skin to help soothe it. It’s basically a skin-saving product and facial in one.
