Confession: We’ve got a major woman crush on Elise Mesner. And after reading this (and seeing what makes her so special), you will, too. This crazy talented Detroit native has a major knack for combining color and whimsy into drop dead gorgeous photographs. We basically want to hang them around our living room and office so we can stare at them all day. They’re that cool.
These zany works of art typically feature one of three things: colorful objects, artsy backgrounds or gals dressed in wacky fashion. But sometimes, it’s all three. And we’re definitely not complaining.
Elise is a serious renaissance woman. Aside from being a super awesome photographer, she works as a painter, illustrator, collage artist, fashion designer AND a stylist. It’s no secret that here at Brit HQ, we have a serious fascination with creative peeps, and Elise is the definition of creativity. We think this is why her artwork is so interesting. Pops of color and crazy compositions are kind of her thing.
