It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since Reese Witherspoon graced screens everywhere as the perky, eternally underestimated sorority girl Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Nearly two decades later, fans are still spouting Elle-isms (bend and snap, anyone?). Now you can cop one of Elle’s best-loved looks from the movie: the pink sequined bikini.
Australian online boutique Dyspnea was so inspired by the classic flick, they decided to do their own take of the infamous swimsuit Elle wore in her head-scratching Harvard Law School application video. You know the one ;)
Dyspnea’s version, the Elle Woods Kini ($175), is slightly different than the OG suit. Dyspnea’s version is a lighter pink, and the brand added gold nipple-hearts and some extra bow embellishments — but we think Elle would totally approve. And it seems like many people agree! The bikini is almost completely sold out already (there’s only one left!).
If you haven’t already filled your swimsuit-buying quota for the year, you might want to hop on the brand’s email list to be notified when the style returns. No guarantees you’ll get into Harvard Law though!
